Meet educators/artists Rick and Laura Brown of Handhouse Studio who guided a ten-year project in rebuild Gwozdiec, a magnificent wooden, 18th century Polish synagogue that had been destroyed by the Nazis. The Browns will relate the amazing story of how their vision and energy inspired hundreds of people from around the world to join them in their work. The project was celebrated in Poland in November, 2014 when the reconstructed roof and elaborate ceiling paintings became the centerpiece of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews which opened on the site of the Warsaw Ghetto.
